MICHAELLA DEROSENA (she/her)
Michaella attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where she earned a BA in Psychology. While on campus she was heavily involved with on-campus clubs most notably the Black Student Union where she was the event coordinator and president.
Michaella found herself interested in Hack after attending Wentworth Institute of Technology's Summer Commencement where CEO, Jody Rose was the keynote speaker. While browsing the website she was most impressed by Hack's dedication to ensuring host companies and partners actively worked to create an environment their Black and Latine talent would thrive in long after their internships. As a Program Manager, Michaella is most excited about guiding the Fellows and presenting them with all the numerous and diverse opportunities at Hack.Diversity.
Michaella is a Somerville native, who admittedly spends too many hours on Youtube and relishes the weekly drama narrated by her favorite youtubers. When she isn't on Youtube she can be found checking out new Boba spots in the Boston area while listening to a True-Crime Podcast.
