BERTRAND SAINT-PREUX (he/him)
Bertrand Saint-Preux is a leader in tech inclusion and product innovation, with a rich background spanning significant roles at Snap Inc. and now at Hack.Diversity. As Snap’s former Team Lead for Inclusive Camera, he championed the enhancement of camera technology to better serve diverse skin tones, leading the creation of key features, and supporting the establishment of a Product Inclusion team. Bertrand's early exposure to the tech industry occurred during his time at Broward College and Wentworth Institute of Technology, through pivotal experiences at Code2040 and Hack.Diversity, where he was a 2018 Fellow.
Currently, as the Vice President of Programs at Hack.Diversity, he applies his expertise to nurture and advance a new generation of tech talent, emphasizing the profound connection between diversity and business success. His leadership not only aims to populate tech environments with diverse individuals but also ensures they are equipped to foster systemic change within the industry. Outside of his VP role, Bertrand actively develops tools that aid social media creators and advises startups aimed at empowering women. His dedication to building inclusive tech landscapes exemplifies his belief in technology’s capacity to drive social change.
Offline, Bertrand enjoys roller skating, tending to his plants, and hosting community events for his friends to socialize and grow.
