ANNETTE VALDOUIN (she/her)

Annette Valdouin is elated to join Hack.Diversity as a Program Associate. As a member of the Fellow Success Team, she enhances the Fellowship experience by tracking Cohort progress as well as curating and supporting professional development opportunities offered to Fellows.

Annette’s career path has heavily been influenced by her personal and professional experiences in education. As a first-generation Haitian American who grew up in the Greater Boston Area, she experienced opportunity gaps while being surrounded by premier educational institutions. This, along with her undergraduate experience and professional background in teaching high school, has led her to develop a passion for educational equity and workforce development advocacy as it relates to BIPOC individuals.

When not at work, you can find Annette spending quality time with her nieces and nephews, researching new cooking recipes to try and tweak until perfection, or curling up with a good book and losing track of time. Annette loves traveling, revels in being a homebody, and believes that the world would be a much better place if we all practiced more empathy.
