JULIA MAYER (she/her)
Julia Mayer is Hack.Diversity's Director of Development. She focuses on ensuring the organization has the revenue needed to fulfill its mission of breaking down barriers and building access in tech. Julia is passionate about workforce development as the means to create lasting change and build intergenerational wealth.
Julia is happiest when she is exchanging stories and enjoys building relationships through storytelling. Her passion for Hack's REDI (racial equity, diversity, and inclusion) priorities comes from her own experience growing up in New York City public schools. Since then, she has worked in development at Harvard University, Boston Public Schools, and Year Up, always focused on pursuing more equitable opportunities for all.
Outside of work, Julia is most often found laughing with her husband and two amazing children. She has also published two books, and enjoys hiking, swimming, kayaking, scuba diving, and any water-based outdoor activity.
