ARDESHIR PEZESHK (he/him)
As Hack.Diversity’s Senior Data Manager, Ardeshir leverages Fellow and Host Company data to facilitate better partnerships, identify areas of excellence and improvement, and work to break down barriers for Black and Latine/x professionals in tech.
Ardeshir’s work has focused on producing more humanitarian and egalitarian outcomes. As an academic, Ardeshir’s research on political violence identified policy interventions that would limit violence against civilians. As an educator at a vocational school in Springfield, MA, he wedded skill-building with content, showing students how to utilize Census data on historic immigration patterns to categorize regions, build a dashboard, and identify trends. A general concern and fascination with how structure affects opportunities, work like American Public Media’s Sold a Story, and teaching encouraged Ardeshir to do more to influence change and brought him to Hack.Diversity.
Based out of Northampton, MA, when he’s not hacking, you’ll find Ardeshir walking the dogs, playing incredibly competitive basketball at the local Y, rocking out to his favorite pop-punk songs or Taylor Swift, and dad-ing out at Costco.
